- Yes, well perhaps it's because for most users we don't actually need a
- huge processor just to run a NON-MULTITASKING OS. PowerMacs run well, but an
- Amiga with *only* a 030 on board will run VERY WELL.

- And what platform do you suggest? AT are moving towards PPC platform. I
- think thats going somewhere - or don't you agree with your PowerMac?

-
- Probably no-more expensive than the top-end PowerMacs and it will run a
- hell of a lot better too!

- Here, Here. AT are doing stirling work given the huge amounts of cathching up
- and sorting out they've got to do. AT - you must start liasing with
- developers though - give them some confidence!!

- Yes too right.
-
- Well,i think that covers it. Remember we don't all need some souped up chi
- just to make our computers useable. The PowerMac's are good machines. I
- prefer Amiga's - and until something better than a Mac or PC comes out I will
- always use my Amiga. Just because it hasen't got the latest chip in it,
- doesn't mean it isn't still a great computer. MHz speeds mean very little in
- the performance of the *WHOLE* system - any one who thinks otherwise isjust
- plain ignorant.
